INFORMATION FOR TEAMS WANTING TO CREATE THEIR OWN SITE

A team web site is very useful. Send your page URL information to the webmaster and it will be linked to the PCHA page.

Some good free hosting sites specifically created for teams are:

www.eteamz.com www.myteam.com http://groups.yahoo.com

Other sites with free hosting are:

Geocities mlive.com Tripod

Many service providers, like Comcast, Earthlink, etc. will allow members to post their own homepages.

Read and review the host’s user’s guide carefully. Also, do not post sensitive information about your team. Do not identify individual players in pictures or post any personal information about the players, such as schools, home phone or e-mail address. Consult your team families to decide what should go on the site. Team web sites that include player phone numbers will not be linked. Use a password or other security device to protect sensitive information about players.

The webmaster will help teams set up their pages as time permits. Like everyone else in the PCHA, the webmaster is a volunteer. Please be patient; your information will be posted as soon as possible.
